Jesus was a Jew as was his mother; and as Jews they defined love, courage, tolerance and forgiveness. At a time when Christians are under attack by the media and Hollywood, while being marginalized by stores, employers and the Government, it is nice to know that members of the chosen people are standing by their Christian brothers and sisters.

The Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation (JAACD) is an organization designed to come to the defense of Christians. This organization has many outstanding members but comedian Jackie Mason stands out in my mind.

Over the last several years I have heard Jackie Mason, formally Rabbi Jackie Mason, stand up over and over again for traditional and patriotic values, and in fact I just finished listening to him speak on The Factor with Bill O'Reilly about both the JAACD and Christianity. Jackie Mason was a 5th generation rabbi, and he also has 3 brothers who are rabbis, and yet this Jewish American displays more love for Christians than any Christian I have listened to in a long time, and he has guts to stand up for his beliefs, a quality which is rare and should be admired.

Tonight I am adding Jackie Mason to my prayers for he is a good person in troubled times.
