Let’s start with a fact. Racial profiling for terrorism works. Most acts of terrorism have been perpetrated by folks who have dark skin, wear hats that look like stolen hotel towels, smell vaguely of hummus, and say things like “The blood of the martyrs will flow through the streets”. These are the foot soldiers, members of the vast herds of uneducated Muslim masses who are dumb enough to think they will spend the afterlife deflowering virgins as a reward for crimes against humanity. They are the easy marks. The ones who are harder to catch are those who issue the suicidal marching orders and the allies who make it possible for them to plot attacks against American citizens.
The leaders are tough to get at because they probably don’t believe the whole 72 virgin thing, so they spend their days squatting in caves; doing everything they can to avoid the “heroic sacrifice” of their slow witted followers. Their allies and enablers are an entirely different topic. They look and act nothing like the classic terrorist and call themselves “American Patriots”.
A terrorist enabler/ally probably wears an expensive suit, sports a haircut that cost more than most people’s cars, may be wearing a button that states “Ask me about my Patriotism!”, and points their prayer rug toward Massachusetts. When you actually accuse a liberal of being unpatriotic they launch into a verbal assault that stops just short of describing which of your bodily fluids they would like to see flowing down what avenue. They then try to redefine their treason by framing themselves as good Americans who are patriotically involved in a well meaning debate on foreign policy. This could not be further from the truth. What they are doing is acting in concert with the terrorists to ensure that our own enemies can operate, unchecked, on American soil.
One of the many examples of this is how Representative John Murtha has now become a portlier, less attractive version of Tokyo Rose. The rhetoric he spouts is eerily similar to her soothing voice telling American troops that they cannot win. While he does what he can in the newspapers and Sunday talk shows to demoralize the troops in the field and the American people, his colleagues are hard at work trying to cover the tracks of their terrorist allies.
Liberal Democrats in the House and Senate have embarked on a campaign of leaks as their weapon against the war on terror. In fact they have wielded national security leaks in much the same callous, malevolent way that D.C snipers Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad handled high powered rifles. Like the psychopathic trigger happy duo, their targets are innocent Americans.
On one hand, they have faked righteous indignation over the “leak” that led to the publication of the name of CIA analyst, Vanity Faire cover girl, (and liberal darling) Valerie Plame. Not only was Valerie not a covert agent, as the media has erroneously referred to her, but her status with the CIA was one of the worst kept secrets in Washington. Having the world discover she was a CIA employee was as shocking as finding out that Ted Kennedy has illegitimate children, Hillary wants to be President, or that Harry Reid is a milksop. The “leak” though, gave liberals a reason to attempt to drag some of the White House’s most effective advisors into court and try to put them permanently on the sidelines. While they chased this phantom case, Democrats actively played a game of media “peek-a-boo” with any national security leak that can actually impact our attempts to catch the bad guys. For example, they are happy to talk about what the media dishonestly refers to as the “domestic wire-tapping”, but don’t want anyone looking into how that information came out. This is because this sort of information is dripping right out from the offices of Liberal Congressmen.
Let’s start with the fact that Democratic Senators Dick Durbin, Jay Rockefeller and Ron Wyden leaked the existence of a multi-billion dollar, next generation, CIA Satellite surveillance program to the Washington Post (who in turn put it on their front page and exposed this secret to anyone who color co-ordinates their prayer rug with their AK-47). Also, in 1987 Democratic Senator Leahy regularly gave his friends in the press classified material relating to our counterterrorism efforts for their front page. This action cost an American Intelligence asset their life. Leahy was promptly kicked off the Senate Intelligence Committee. Moreover, Senator Rockefeller acted as the Islamic world’s Paul Revere when in 2002 the Congressmen traveled to Syria for the purpose warning them about the impending attack on Iraq.
Today evidence regarding the leak that led to the outing of the federal program that allowed the United States government to monitor calls between our homeland and terrorists in foreign countries is hinting at a point of origin that is deep within the Democratic Congressional leadership. These are just the tip of a bitter little “Angry Liberal” iceberg of treasonous acts by Democrats in Congress.
If the liberal politicians are committing these crimes, the mainstream media is driving the getaway car. Instead of focusing on the real issue about the illegal means that has landed classified material on their front pages, they sing a vigorous chorus of “Que sera, sera” and actively search for a way to demonize President Bush for the crime of listening to the enemy place their falafel order while discussing how to turn the Sears Tower into a one-story ranch.
I doubt the efforts to hamstring the war on terror are anything the liberals have specifically coordinated with various terrorist groups. Coordination would imply that some thought and planning went into things. Let’s face it; this is a lot to ask for from a political party who currently isn’t displaying the sort of competence needed to successfully put on a pair of pants in the morning without an instruction manual. This is simply a case of “The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend”. Liberals across the board consider President Bush, not Muslim extremists, the enemy. Because they share a common foe with Al Queda, the sabotage committed on attempts by the Bush administration to safeguard this country naturally works in the terrorists favor. In the end our national safety is less important to them than sticking it to a President they don’t like and getting their power back.
