A recent article I have read has caught my attention. It has once again reminded me of the very anti-Christian world in which we live and of the people who have made it all possible. We all know of the war on Christmas by corporate America, the ACLU, and other such people and we all know about the act of removal of anything Christian, not religious, from the public square. For some strange reason our kids can learn about adulterous affairs called extra-marital sex, condoms, homosexuality, evolution, abortion, and all other evils that plague this wicked world in which we live but if it has the name of Christ or anything to do with the Bible, it simply must go!
The Bible has been under attack for as long as it has existed, but now , Hollywood (remember Da Vinci- boycott it!) and the left wingers have been out to get rid of the Bible more than ever. They replaced Biblical solutions to life's questions with false teachings of mythical evolution that is absolutely impossible to even comprehend, much less be real.

I want to remind people of the origin and purpose of the hospital to start with. When hospitals began, they were mostly a Christian institution that helped take care of the poor, sick, and elderly who could not take care of themselves. Many doctors never visited the hospital. Instead the doctor made house calls. The early church had hospitals available to take care of weary travelers, the crippled, blind, and other handicapped who could not make it on their own. Hospitals at one time were Christian institutions and somewhere down the line (perhaps government got involved) they lost their origins and heritage. What better place to put a Bible than a hospital? Many sick rely on the Word of God and prayers and just because a Bible is lying there on the table when you walk in does not mean you have to pick it up and look at it if you don't want to.
America used to be free from such persecution. What happened? Believe it or not but there was once a time in American history when the Bible was welcomed in public places and people had free speech to proclaim the gospel message in public. Somewhere down the line liberals took charge and tried to de-throne the very God who gave them life. As far as I am concerned, the Gideons and anyone else still have freedom of religion and freedom of speech to proclaim that message. No one has yet taken away the privileges of free speech from the church, but we are coming close to it. I personally want to thank any Gideon who might be reading this. Thank you for your efforts in standing up for the truth no matter the consequences.
Today more than ever this message is needed. Children don't need to hear evil messages of how sexually corrupt they can make a nation. They need a message of hope, not despair, sorrow, and death. The message that homosexual activist groups and groups like Move On give are negative and filled with secular myths that will one day perish in the fire anyway. They fill our children's minds with lies and deception derived from the mind of the devil. One such event is the Da Vinci Code. This whole myth is probably the largest con artist scam (aside from UN Oil for Food Scandal) in human history. Not only should we forbid our children from seeing it, we should encourage churches to preach out against it, boycott it, then make their own film to challenge it. Maybe Mel Gibson can help us out again with a film to counter this - perhaps something along the Genesis/Noah's Flood line.
Messages that say Jesus was mere mortal can affect a young child's thinking for life and we must not let that happen. It is the church's duty to proclaim the truth in a time of worldly turmoil. The world indeed are far more vicious and far more ready to persecute us than they were twenty years ago. The secular world would rather believe in man-made myths like evolution and the very fake Da Vinci Code than they had to believe in a Supreme Creator of the Universe. As for me, I know what I believe and no matter what fake document like The Judas Papers* (another blasphemy worth burning) tell me, I am well rooted in the Truth that reigns forever on a Great White throne. His name is Jesus. Do you follow Jesus or Darwin? The Son of the living God who healed the sick and raised the dead or a mere mortal man who had a theory of how he thinks the world came into being? I hope you make a wise choice.
* The Judas Papers (not to be confused with Dan Rather's papers) are said to be document found that say that Judas did not really betray Jesus. We now know the documents are fake (again,don't confuse this with Dan Rather's documents) and that Judas did betray Jesus just as the prophecy 1000 years before his time said he would. The Judas Papers are just another pathetic secular attempt to disprove the Bible which cannot be done.
