By Sher Zieve – UK Muslim leader Anjem Choudary called for the execution of Pope Benedict XVI, on Sunday. His call for the pope’s demise came during a Muslim protest of the pope at London’s Westminster Cathedral.
This is reported to be the second time, in a year, that Choudary has attempted to incite a Muslim crowd to murder. After saying "I am here [to] have a peaceful demonstration”, Choudary continued with: "The Muslims take their religion very seriously and non-Muslims must appreciate that...and that [they] must also understand that there may be serious consequences if you insult Islam and the prophet.
"Whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment!"
