By Sher Zieve – Although Israel is being blamed for civilian deaths in the Gaza, the area is said to have become a refuge for Islamic terrorists reports All Headline news. It has also become a staging area for the continuing rocket attacks on Israeli residents.

In 2005, Israel pulled out of the Gaza area, in order to provide Palestinians with the opportunity to abstain from violence and create a homeland. However, attacks instigated by the Palestinian-led Hamas government and other terrorist groups that immigrated to the area have continued.

Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh said: "We left entirely--not leaving behind one soldier--and they turned Gaza, especially Beit Hanoun, into a launching pad for rockets on our civilians, cynically using their civilian population as a human shield for their terrorist activity. This is a responsibility they cannot evade."

Hamas has, also, consistently said that its policy is to not recognize Israel as a nation, which it reiterated on Thursday.
