Anyone who is serious about understanding Islam and the motivation behind the jihadists efforts to destroy all non-Muslims must read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam by Robert Spencer. Spencer debunks many myths that have been perpetrated by our educational institutions and pro-Islam organizations in conjunction with a complicit media. The first myth to be debunked is that the Qur’an teaches tolerance and peace. In order to understand Islam, the reader must accept the idea that words have no meaning other than the meaning the reader gives to them. Therefore, there can be no basis for separating right from wrong or good from evil. Muslims define good as whatever benefits them and bad as whatever harms them. So to behead someone is neither right nor wrong in and of itself. It only has meaning when seen in the light of benefiting or harming the cause of jihad. Jihad is defined as the taking up of arms in Allah’s cause that brings salvation. ”Paradise (salvation) is guaranteed to those who slay and are slain in the fight in the cause of Allah.” (p.21)

The second myth propagated by the Politically Correct is that the Qur’an teaches believers to take up arms only in self-defense. “If a country is perceived to be hindering the spread of Islam, Muslims are obliged to wage war against it. …It is possible for anyone to portray virtually any struggle as defensive” (p.24) The choices of unbelievers are three. 1. Accept Islam. 2. Pay the jizya (poll tax). This encompasses a system of humiliating regulations that institutionalizes inferior status for non-Muslims. 3. War with Muslims. “Always remember ‘peaceful coexistence as equals in a pluralistic society’ isn’t one of the choices.”

Myth #3 is “the mother of all myths. Islam is a religion of peace that has been hijacked by a tiny majority of extremists.” (p. 41) Remember that words only have the meaning that the reader attaches to them. Peace for the Muslim is only possible when everyone is Muslim or ruled by Muslims. “And to establish that peace Muslims must wage war.” (p. 42) The idea of a tolerant Islam is perpetuated by the United Nations which ignores the fact that whenever Muslims lived “under the same roof” with non-Muslims, one was the master and the other lived as despised inferior.” (p.48) “Jews and Christians are dhimmis. People of guilt because they have rejected Muhammad as a prophet and have distorted the legitimate revelations they received from Allah.” (p.49) As a result Jews and Christians can never live in Islamic countries as equals. Lying to ones enemies and practicing deception (not telling the whole truth or intentionally misleading unbelievers) are acceptable according to the Qur’an. (pp.80-81) Stealing and killing are also acceptable in order to advance Islam. (p.79)

Islam has no moral code of conduct like the 10 Commandments that clearly defines right from wrong. It teaches one standard for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. (Pp. 79 & 83) It clearly teaches that war against the unbelievers must continue until all accept that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. “No Islamic sect has ever renounced the proposition that Islamic law must reign supreme over the entire world, and that Muslims must, under certain circumstances, take up arms to this end.”(pp.114-115) “Likewise, Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi (1903-1979), founder of the Pakistani political party Jamaat-e-Islami, declared that non-Muslims have “absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God’s earth nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines.’ If they do, ‘the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.’” (Pp. 115-116) Omar Ahmad, board chairman of the Council of American Muslim Relations stated in 1998 that “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.” (p. 190)

Spencer goes on to debunk the PC perpetuated belief that “the crusades were unprovoked, imperialist actions against a peaceful, indigenous Muslim population….” (P.129)

In addition to debunking PC myths, the author makes some disturbing revelations about what happens to anyone who wishes to leave the Muslim faith. The bottom line is all who chose to refute Islam will be killed.

In conclusion, he presents three things that we can do to defeat the jihad in America. 1. We must have an informed citizenry. We must demand responsible reporting from both the media and law enforcement about jhadist attacks in the U.S. 2. Reclassify Muslim organizations. Any Muslim group that advocates replacing the Constitution with Muslim sharia law must be classified as a political organization instead of a religious organization. 3. Take pride in western culture. A concerted effort must be made to remove the anti-Western multicultural indoctrination from our schools. “Western civilization has given the world notions of human rights that are universally accepted (except in the Islamic world), technological advancement beyond the wildest dreams of people of previous ages, and a great deal more.” It is time to take pride in our culture and to acknowledge our contributions to making this world a better place.

The author leaves the reader with the feeling that there can be no doubt that the greatest contributions in the history of the world have been made by the people of the United States of America. All of which were made possible because the foundations of our government have their roots in Judeo-Christian beliefs. Be proud!
