Today the Democrats in the House of Representatives align themselves with al-Qaeda and all those who would seek to see America and democracy loose in Iraq. The Democrats and a few weak Republicans, who represent Democratic leaning districts, are condemning the surge of American troops in Iraq, and in so doing the Commander-in-Chief, our generals and our brave service-members. The vote to condemn the build-up of our forces in Iraq is being hailed by our enemies both around the world and the fifth column within, and is the brainchild of a two headed monster comprised of Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha.

Nancy Pelosi, a San Francisco Democrat, was best known for her questionable association with Political Action Committees before getting a grotesque face over and becoming the Speaker of the House. John Murtha was an un-indicted co-conspirator during the Abscam investigation, when in response to a $50,000 bribe offer made to him he did not exactly make a citizens arrest but said he was not interested in the bribe at that time, but then left open the possibility that he might reconsider it in the future. Predicated, no doubt on Congressman Murtha’s “ethics”, Nancy Pelosi made him the Chairman of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee.

Now, when the Pelosi and Murtha team are not trying to undermine our war efforts they spend much of their time trying to wrangle military perks for Pelosi, like an oversized military aircraft she could use to fly both herself and her buddies to and from the left coast. The tragedy here is that the military’s most ardent critics are now positioned to start using military assets for personal advantage. After today’s vote perhaps al Qaeda could get Pelosi something nicer to fly around in than just a military aircraft, after all it is al-Qaeda which is benefiting from Pelosi's efforts.
