Dear maybe time to start thinking about growing up liberal baby boomers. Important distinction: the present is not your future. You can run from your future, you can hide from your future. As sure as the sun rises everyday somewhere, sooner or later the future will find you.
There seem to be four choices in life: surrender/give up, stand and fight, run, or hide. Problem with running, bad guys catch up and shoot you in the back. Or, bad guys can jump ahead and ambush you.
Running options include: temporarily get away to pick better place to take a stand, double back ambush bad guys, or find a place to hide.
Trouble with hiding is bad guys can show up when you are least prepared. No way to live or die. Difference between running and retreating not much, depends on how you use borrowed time.
Primary reason for taking a stand or stepping up to the line, solve problem once and for all or buy time for others to solve problem. Which is what America should be, but is not doing in Iraq.
Unites States policies should be utilizing time armed forces and private security are buying in Iraq to secure America’s borders, and police Americas premises against future terrorists attacks.
Preferable policy would have been putting hundred thousand plus troops on the ground in Afghanistan to secure premises; followed by leasing for ninety-nine years a jumping off base in middle of no where to be in position to better choose next battle: Iraq, Iran, Syria, or any other regional trouble maker.
Regardless of why best policy was not chosen, vanity, inanity, or greed; the existing problem is still keeping terrorists from reaping carnage on American soil or attacking United States interests.
One of the first things liberal baby boomers need to learn is ruthless and stupid are not identical traits. Sadam knew he could not control skies or open spaces so he lured America down one of history’s largest rabbit trails right into a multi-culture urban guerilla war.
Like it or not, primary problem is still keeping terrorists who want to murder you, sexually assault your wife and daughter, and butcher your children from achieving Pre-Middle Ages theocratic goals.
Uncivil world threats you as a liberal baby boomer need to consider: First, leaving Iraq before America secures America’s southern border, or polices America’s premises by deporting all illegal immigrants or detaining members of terrorist cells already on American soil will cause deaths of many thousands of American civilians.
Two, starting a war with Iran before, like a broken record, America secures its southern border, or polices its premises by deporting all illegal immigrants or detaining members of terrorist cells on American soil will cause deaths of many thousands of American civilians.
Greatest casualties of these Hezbollah by way of Iran terrorist attacks will be America’s Constitution and Bill of Rights. Your fellow Democrats will in the name of national security, rush to shelve America’s most sacred political documents.
To answer your great liberal baby boomer question: can’t we all get along? Answer is no not in today’s uncivil world unless we want to live as slaves to internationalist terrorists.
I have no problem making same point different ways. Time has arrived for liberals to stop acting like baby boomers and start acting like “adult boomers.”
Liberal baby boomers can more easily change into adult baby boomers by supporting following:
1. Change America’s three sided fort policy to a defensible four sided fort.
2. Greed brought illegals into America and greed will send them home. How, by enforcing one hundred percent asset forfeiture laws against property purchased by illegal wages just like proceeds from illegal drug trafficking.
3. Illegals who stay after sixty day national deadline to take illegal gains and leave, will for most part be criminals, smugglers, narco-traffickers, and international terrorists.
4. Identify and deport remaining illegals and detain members of terrorist cells operating within America’s borders.
When a bullet exits a barrel, it does not care if it reaches its expansion range and falls harmlessly on the ground. This same bullet does not care if it hits paper, puts down a bad guy, penetrates a bullet resistant vest worn by a good guy, or goes through several walls and kills an innocent baby, child or senior person.
The bullet is just following laws of ignition. combustion, and expansion; just like non-resident criminals, gangs, and internationalist terrorist do what they do.
International and domestic security consequences are not television reality shows where viewers get to choose who wins and who loses. In nature’s uncivil world, good guys do not always win and bad guys do not always lose. Sometimes good guys win and sometimes good guys lose.
Do not confuse no major terrorist attacks since 911 as good defense. More like preparations for simultaneous attacks by sleeper cells moving onto U.S. soil while receiving logistical support through America’s porous Southern border.
Also changing criteria for a “terrorist attack” to needing couple dozen innocent citizen casualties, other wise murders are down sized to hate crimes.
I am not suggesting you liberal baby boomers act like adults all the time, just when it comes to making sure foreign criminals and gangs, narco cartels, and international terrorists do not bum out your make love not war staying in touch with your self actualizing reality, or me first life style.
Never forget, liberal baby boomers who ignore national security will spend too much time at cemeteries.
America’s future will catch up with America, just as Greek and Roman futures caught up with their republics.
Would not you as a liberal adult boomer like to be remembered as someone who served America’s security needs before your future catches up with you?
