It doesn't bother me that Al Gore has a $1,359 monthly electricity bill. Sure you would think that the man who seeks praise everywhere he goes over his fight against global warming and for his "documentary" on that topic, " An Inconvenient Truth", would live as he would have others live. However, Al Gore is rich and the rich exclude themselves from the rules they would impose on others.
However, what does bother me is this, on March 1, 2007, Al Gore and his private staff were escorted around the security screening station at Nashville International Airport by an American Airlines employee, and that none of those individuals were arrested after this security breach was detected, and that the American Airlines employee was not fired for this egregious security violation. When common people circumvent security at our nations airports they are arrested for criminal trespass or more and I believe, perhaps naively, that the rich should be held to that same security standard, even if such a requirement poses an inconvenient rule for them to follow.
