These days the public is blasted with media coverage of two major problems; the war against terrorism and the so called climate crisis. Yet, the climate crisis has more similarities to terrorism than it does to scientific method.
Primarily, the creation of fear of impending doom is being directed installing a sense of urgency. By setting forth a scenario of dire and immediate need for unprecedented change, the radical objectives of militant environmentalists and the political goals of anti-capitalists can be made to seem more acceptable and can be convinced of its necessity. Such institutionalization of fear has always been known as terrorism whether it is by a bomb or by working up the masses with lies. Recall, the efficiency of propaganda is directly linked to its suppression of opposing views.
The easiest way for radical global warming advocates to convince people of their cause is to carpet the media wall-to-wall with articles, movies, charity concerts, pressure campaigns, reports, advertisements and protests all urging only one view. By dominating the media reporting one can do more than just persuade with reporting. With evidence being presented as incontrovertible and unchallenged the public is being misinformed that global warming is exactly the Armageddon being portrayed.
To further the misguided idea that debate is no longer necessary, the UN as well as governments and media institutions around the world have now begun to trot out legions of ‘white-coat scientists’ who seem to be politically unbiased and solely interested in the truth. Yet, the scientific method has been completely ignored resulting in intentionally malicious and inaccurate results. Consider the scientific method which states that nothing is science unless it can be repeatedly and decisively demonstrated. How are we to test a theory of apocalypse? We can test extremely minute factors of the ecological system but we have no method of constructing an accurate picture of the global ecological system in its entirety and we are even less equipped to make predictions about the future of our entire planet.
Beyond these brainwashing campaigns people are being told to be “heroes” by saving the world without direct action. Observers are urged to use less of every product and that they simply may become like James Bond. Some people buy into this nonsense so completely that it has become as their religion.
Direct action terrorist groups like the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) have forceful campaigns particularly against automobile dealerships. During actions which they label protests, ELF and ALF members sneak onto dealership lots and smash the windshields, slash the tires and sometimes even set fire to Sport Utility Vehicles.
Not only are the hardcore global warming alarmists pushing through general opinion campaigns they are also seeking radical reductions in freedom across the United States and even the world through legislation and fiat. The United Nations has created panels and reports and the Kyoto protocol to limit the production of certain gases which appear naturally despite human industrialization.
The Supreme Court of the United States has demanded the EPA begin to create regulations for CO2, a gas that is not only natural but vital to the existence of all life on this planet.
In Congress there is no question among the more liberal politicians that global warming is the greatest threat to the world today. Even among the more conservative republicans there is a divide forming over whether or not global warming is a problem.
To clarify further, politicians worldwide make their own decisions on global warming at the risk of losing their job over doing what is right. Denying the environmentalists access to restrict freedom is political leprosy and those who take a stand against militant climatology do so with supreme jeopardy of being thrown out of office.
