The Screwtube Debates
July 25, 2007 01:31 PM EST

How many ways can you rephrase the same question? How many ways can you retwist the answers? This was all on display last night in the first ever CNN YouTube debates.

Don't get me wrong, on one hand this demonstrates the greatness of our society - that people from all over the world can now ask the candidates questions and get answers immediately. But on the other side, most of the questions were empty headed, sycophantic pandering. It was almost more pathetic than when "unbiased" journalists ask softball questions.

And remember it's CNN. The retirement home of high ranking Clinton flunkies like James Carvel. It's okay though, I've been assured by lefties that he never lets politics get in the way of honest reporting.

That said - let's face it, most of the people who participated last night were Democrats - and the majority of them libs so extreme they'd make Kossacks blush. They want taxes raised, out of Iraq, amnesty for illegal aliens, etc.

So today as we go through the "highlights", the story becomes who slipped up and dropped the lib message during their answer?

The bottom line is who really cares outside of pundit shows who need something to talk about? Is there any doubt that electing any of these candidates is not going to lead to more socialism and big, more intrusive government? Is there any doubt that you Dems are stuck with Hillary? She wouldn't be running if the nominatin wasn't in the bag.

Do all the "youtube debates" you want, that's not going to change.
