I am disheartened by the conservatives who did not vote in last years election, but understand the principle they applied; however, the conservative movement in America is frequently self-flagellating and may have just beat themselves senseless.

It took decades to return conservative principles to Congress and the Senate and 8 years to trample them underfoot. I am hopeful it does not take that long the restore our principles again; and never again, throw away those principles on which we stand.

The Republican Party was the target of a message to wake-up and represent the conservative governing philosophy of our founding fathers. I think the message was needed and only hope it was heard by the many Republicans who thought they could be without principle, immoral socialist-liberals like their Democrat counterparts and repent so they can call themselves Conservatives and Republicans, again.

Some of our finest Conservative Republicans were also sacrificed on the alter of last year's elections. Let us pray their sacrifices were not all in vain.
