CLC Baptism Concludes
October 14, 2007 12:00 PM EST

If you were a participant at the 2007 Conservative Leadership Conference this past week in Reno/Sparks, Nevada, you have come away a renewed man or woman. If you did not attend, you may have missed the greatest Conservative spiritual event in modern Conservative history.

As a rapidly seasoning citizen, over the past six decades I have seen and participated in many political events, some grand, some mundane; but absolutely none such as enjoyed this past week. To be encircled by the best of past, present and future of principled leaders of the constitution based, conservative movements of today’s America was akin to a faith-based spiritual experience.

To hear the words of truth and right, to walk into the waters of renewal and to arise with the assist of the hands and hearts of the anointed was a moving experience that offered hope and anticipation and welcoming another try at the revival of principle over politics in our precious God-given Republic.

Over the next couple of weeks or so, I will attempt to share glimpses into the expansion of insight, inspiration, and illumination of thought that was the 2007 Conservative Leadership Conference.
