CLC 2007, Up-Close and Personal
October 17, 2007 12:00 PM EST

Continuing to look at some of the many highlights of Conservative Leadership Conference 2007, Up-Close and Personal comes to mind, when considering the remarkable venue of eyeball to eyeball, handshaking closeness, with an amazing array of Conservative leaders, philosophers, teachers, and students. At age 62, this writer includes himself, very much so, as among the students in attendance.

Participation of everyone in attendance was accomplished through masterful and excellent use of combining Town Hall appearances by leading Republican and Libertarian Presidential Candidates, keynote and featured speakers who are the literal who’s who in the world of Conservative policy and politics, and open and lively panel discussions with the best of the best of movers and shakers in the political and professional blogosphere, podcasting and media communications arenas.

Novice and seasoned attendees enjoyed elbow rubbing and candid conversations with Presidential Candidates, Governors, Members of Congress, and leadership from all philosophical disciplines of Constitutional, Independent, Libertarian and Republican Conservatism. Equally impressive and available were those from the technical, education, author, grassroots organizations, activist, civil and constitutional legal, broadcasting, communications, internet and blogosphere professions.

For those who were not at this conference and would have liked to have been, I would not be surprised if you are feeing like you really missed-out on something very special and exceptional. You did! It was a rare experience to be Up-Close and Personal with the number and quality of those who made up Conservative Leadership Conference 2007. For those of us participating, we are looking forward to CLC 2008.

As these highlights of CLC 2007 continue, this writer will be sharing tid-bits and entire bites of information about the individuals and sessions that were CLC 2007.
