Google Censoring Free Speech In America?
November 03, 2007 02:00 PM EST

If you think Google censors free speech only in China, you need to read this article. Google is apparently also censoring free speech right here in the United States.

On Thursday evening I ran a Google search on my last piece “Stephen Limbaugh: Missouri’s Most Dangerous Liberal Judge”. When quoted, it came up on about a dozen websites that I usually publish on, as well as a few unexpected sites that picked the article up.

A simple unquoted search for “Stephen Limbaugh” brought my article up on the first page of results. I sometimes search my articles to see where they end up. The results are often fascinating.

This evening I ran the same Google search, simply by refreshing the same tab I used yesterday. Google has removed all references to the above article except for one result published on Newsbyus.com. Most of the other search engines I checked are not censoring searches.

Now, why they are censoring my article is beyond my scope of knowledge. It is possible that the Missouri Bar, or perhaps Judge Limbaugh himself, has requested that Google censor this article. I will guess that it is the latter because Google probably would not care unless somebody like a Supreme Court Judge called them and complained or perhaps threatened a lawsuit that would be without any merit given the facts stated in my article.

I do understand that there may be some very extreme situations where nut-cases are directly advocating violence. In these situations their treatises probably should be taken down – but only under court order.

It is quite clear that my article about Judge Limbaugh is honest, to the point, and does not in any way advocate violence. In fact, the major point of this piece (although not expressly stated) is that when courts brashly violate laws and abuse citizens to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, the courts in fact incite acts of desperate violence. The purpose of my article is to encourage court reforms to reduce abuses of American men in family courts, and in turn, improve public safety for all.

Those who have been around these tables for as many years as I, have seen many formerly-reasonable and responsible men who, lacking any prior history of unusual behavior, go off the rails killing themselves or others after having the work of their hands and fruits of their loin ripped away without any moral or legal justification.

Here is my proof that Google is censoring free speech inside the United States borders. The links below are a quoted search on "Stephen Limbaugh: Missouri's Most Dangerous Liberal Judge". Click the links below and see it for yourself.
