I BELIEVE in John Edwards’ political position:

• Global warming solutions like emission cuts.
• Eliminating poverty via Scholarship money for college in exchange for work, and providing universal healthcare.
• Reducing American presence in Iraq on a timetable that honors the troops while building Iraq's capacity to take care of its self, and getting other countries to step up.
• Developing a pathway to citizenship for immigrants already here illegally while enforcing the laws.
• Opposing constitutional amendments banning same sex marriage - though a traditional he respects the constitutional rights of all.

I ADMIRE John Edwards for Righting his Wrongs! No one is perfect, and Edwards is the first in recent times to admit his wrongs and took positive actions to right that wrong!

• When it became clear to him that Fortress Investment Groups were linked to Green Tree Servicing, LLC, he reached into his own pocket and helped rescue some New Orleans victims and voted in favor of a crack down on predatory lenders.
• After voting in 2004 for the Iraq War, he later pointed out the "flawed intelligence" that was the basis for many a vote in Congress, and developed a 3-point plan for resolution. He went on record saying 1) Reduce American presence 2)Build Iraq’s capacity to defend itself 3) Ask other countries to assist

I am CONVINCED that

• He has the Leadership Ability, Intelligence, Diplomacy, Experience, and Tenacity to accept the responsibilities of the Presidency with Honor.
• He will lead us with the same Moral Conviction he has displayed in his private and public life.
• He will assist in showing the World that America is still a Powerful Nation, yet sensitive and diplomatic in achieving win-win resolutions with other countries willing to grow Peace.
• He will Support and Honor our Troops who have answered the call to War, by bringing them Home, and leaving their Iraq replacements trained and ready for battle.

I will SUPPORT him by putting my money where my mouth is. I will STAND with him and Believe in his decisions. I will RELY on him to Protect my Nation and its Constitution, and Honor those who have fought for us to sustain our Freedom.
