Iran Loses in Iraq and Lebanon
November 24, 2007 12:00 PM EST

Bush is helping Iran by attacking Muqtada al Sadr in Baghdad and southern Iraq; allowing Iranian Revolutionary Guards to take power in southern Iraq; and allowing northern Iraq to become a staging area for PKK terrorists against Turkey and Syria.

Ahmadinejad will ail because Mutqada al-Sadr is rallying the Iraqi resistance and the Arab world in general against the Iranian/Kurdish occupation of Iraq.I raq’s new leader Muqtada al-Sadr will stop the Iranian/Kurdish blitzkrieg in Iraq. Sadr has gathered 300,000 Shi’ite signatures including 600 clergy calling for a UN investigation into Iranian subversion in Iraq. See Washington Post, “Shiites in South Iraq Rebuke Iran,” 11/23/07.

To put it another way, just as Bush is greasing the political tracks to turn Iraq over to Iran and the PKK, Muqtada al Sadr has decided to blow up the tracks. What is needed is a combined Iraqi resistance offensive against the Kurdish/Iranian government now in power in Baghdad. Most importantly, Sadr should create an Iraq Liberation Front (ILF) based on Tito’s anti-Nazi model in WW II Yugoslavia.

Sadr will insist upon five immediate objectives.

First, Sadr will call upon Turkey and Syria to provide all possible military support to the Iraqi resistance, including arming and training the Mahdi Army. Second, the ILF will liberate Mosul, Kikuk, and Basra by driving out all Iranian and PKK forces. Sadr will call upon Turkish forces to participate in these operations. Third, Sadr will call upon support for the ILF from all Sunni militants in Iraq, including Al-Qaeda. If Al-Qaeda does not endorse the ILF, Osama bin Ladin will be considered an ally of Iran and the PKK. Fourth, Sadr will extend the fight for Iraqi liberation into Iran itself. Tehran will be renamed Sadr City. Fifth, Sadr will call upon Iran not to drag Iraq into Lebanon's conflict.

Finally, if President Bush has a better plan against Iran, he should present the plan.
