Beware false conservatives. Imagine what the word Texas would look like if the “x” was replaced with a swastika. Not a stretch based on actions of Texas’ counterfeit conservatives, bureaucrats, and special interest groups.
The problem is that most Texas conservatives like one President, two U.S. Senators, and a Texas Governor have forgotten that the problem of compromising half your principles today, half tomorrow, half day after tomorrow is that in less than a week, one is about out of principles to compromise.
Back to an earlier point, politicians take an oath to God to uphold, protect, and defend America’s Constitution from all enemies domestic and foreign.
America's Constitution states that federal government “guarantees” to protect all states from invasions not that federal government will consider, think about, or try, but guarantees. Thirty million plus illegal immigrants surely qualifies as an invasion.
Enough about elected counterfeit conservatives; Mr. Newt are not your supporters entitled to know if you have compromised your principles for populist pragmatism? Before you answer; a few observations from a future historian for a past historian, starting with Civics 101.
My beliefs can be defined as preservative of America’s Founding Fathers’ Declaration of Independence and Constitution. America’s founding Fathers were devoted to ideas by Locke and Luther.
How would history’s great movements be remembered, if their leaders traded compromise for expedient populist pragmatism?
There are only two kinds of governments: constitutional and unconstitutional or mob rule. Reminder, America is a constitutional republic not a populist democracy. Populist democracies are foundations for fascist dictatorships.
Good Guys: people who honor their oaths to uphold, protect, and defend America’s Constitution as written not interpreted from all enemies domestic and foreign. There is no expiration date on this oath. Did not you take such an oath?
Bad Guys: people trying to destroy America’s Constitution with terrorism, mob rule, populism, or any other special interest dictatorship.
Really Bad Guys: the second greatest threat to America is people who abandon or betray their oaths to America’s Constitution.
New adage, being a hero once does not make one a hero forever, study case of Benedict Arnold who was considered a hero before he became a traitor.
Causes of people betraying oaths to Heaven are mostly greed, lust and vanity. Examples of greed include: public subsidy addicts; unaccountable under skilled incompetent public employees not subject to employment termination and or civil liability (especially human resource and education agencies); unethical capitalists.
Specific examples are Democrats, government bureaucrats, Republican leadership, internationalists and self appointed Heaven’s middlemen.
Examples of vanity and lust: ideological fascists; moral socialists; and political correct advocates. This list includes Nazis, Islamic Fascists, some religious leaders, entertainment liberals, most journalists, and the world owes me respect for being too blanked up too know I am blanked up baby boomers.
Bottom line, those most responsible for current and future problems confronting America’s Constitutional Republic are individuals not honoring oaths made to God to protect America’s Constitution. After all, a thief breaks into your home; who do you hold responsible, the thief, or the security guard who was sleeping on duty?
Voting for a Presidential candidate simply because they are a successful businessman, minister, cute, or their family ties is no different than voting for someone because of their race. If voting for someone because of their race makes you a racist, what does voting for anything less than principles, integrity, and abilities make you?
Tell me Mr. Newt, as a historian, will future historians write about you as a man who put principles before pragmatism or pragmatism before principle?
