Does anyone else find it offensively rude that former President Bill Clinton took a nap during the commemoration of our beloved Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday? I look at the Youtube video and have to address, once more the despicable character, deplorable behavior and insufferable nerve of this man!

For the First “Black President” to be miserably bored or too tired to stay awake at such an event, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church no less is astounding! Astounding not because he was “Having a dream” but, because his ridicule of Black America is so absolute that he can even get away with such a blatant display of disrespect and not shred an iota of humility or decency.

I could care less about what ever reason for his inability to compose himself in order that he may at least appear to give a hoot. Truth be told, his charade in the Black Community, African American Community or other wise, reached its zenith on January 21, 2008 as far as this man is concerned.

I saw the news flash (and flash it was) done by Fox News with regard to Mr. Clinton’s nap as it were but, have not seen anything else, anywhere else except on, “You Tube!” The fact that the major networks did not do a more telling story in line with my current feelings is of no surprise to me. Even for the most ardent supporters of the Clinton’s, you cannot possibly say that this was not offensive?

I am not going to come up with a lengthy article on this subject. Most who know me know of my disdain for the Clinton's, I will however, state for the record that if Essence Magazine, Jet Magazine, BET or similar publications or media condone this behavior and indeed, excuse it away, then the embarrassment of that level of ignorance concerning the Clinton’s is complete!

I was and am still appalled at this display of so-called concern for all that Dr. King stood for.

Had this been a conservative or the current President of our United States, the cable, news channels, every liberal pundit known to heaven and hell and every elected democrat on God’s green earth would be blaring across my idiot box spreading controversy! This is not controversy; it is simply rude, disgraceful behavior or Bill Clinton in total altruistic form.

I can just hear Bill Clinton’s sentiment, “I was so tired due to the enormous amount of time it takes to support my wife during her campaign to make me President again so we can get rid of these Republicans, once and for all!” You deserve this man if this sort of supposed rhetoric makes his actions, OK with you.

Really, the real Bill Clinton was on display…..he could care less.
Certainly, you can clearly see that now?
