Hate and Michelle's Superficial Pride
March 18, 2008 01:00 PM EST

Finally Obama’s history is being revealed. We all knew that Barack could not run for President or even his party’s nomination without undergoing some level of scrutiny. Certainly we should be surprised that the Clinton mob for so long tiptoed around but for obvious reasons.

Recently clips from Jeremiah Wright have surfaced. There was no secrecy about Wright’s anti-American and hardcore racist views. There was no secrecy about the Obama families deep personal and 20 year long connection to the man.

But hearing about a raging bigot and anti-patriot is different than simply hearing it.

After listening to the clips that have come to light, I am no longer incredulous about Michelle Obama’s earlier statement. She was never proud of America until the election was Barack’s to lose.

And why should she be proud? She and Barack have spent years attending and donating money to a church that is a volcano of hate for our nation. Baracks book, Audacity of Hope, an earlier Wright sermon title, could perhaps be better titled the Audacity of Hate.

Wright spews not only racist messages but adds in foul language as well. Proclaiming in one clip, “The government gives [black people] the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three strike law, and then wants us to sing God Bless America? No, no, no! Not God bless America! God damn America!” This was part of a 2003 sermon that Barack and Michelle very well might have attended.

The fallacy of trying to base a belief system on a book which is never opened during a sermon is one notable problem. But is it not the liberals who are constantly seeking to forcefully separate church from state? Barack’s Trinity United Church of Christ sounds nothing like a church and everything like a Black Panther rally. A place not of worship but of generating hate and division.

Martin Luther King sought to bring all races together into a common culture where the content of character is all that matters. Wright seeks to call up fury and malice between races and separate people based upon some demented standard of black=good and white=evil.

I cannot describe the utter disgust I feel when I listen to these clips. The same, I cannot merely place Wrights words onto a computer screen and do justice to his complete contempt for this nation and the white race.

Glenn Beck stated that it’s not fair to judge the delivery and that the words are condemnation enough. I disagree. The vile filth of the message is indeed expository but the passion with which Wright exposes the corruption of his heart is also important.

Many who follow politics will recall the Al Gore that we all knew before his plastic-surgery-of-a-movie, reinventing himself as a reasonable person. During the 2004 election process Al Gore was clearly disturbed and he railed layers of lies in speeches to ultra-liberal organizations such as moveon.org.

In the most noted clip, Gore screamed that the President “betrayed this country. He played on our fears”. He really gave Howard Dean a good run in the microphone-distorting screech contest.

Jeremiah Wright seems to have beaten them both consistently for the past twenty years until his resignation last December. Perhaps his voice is weakening from decades of weekly abuse or perhaps he accepted a position in Obama’s religious advisory staff.

So why should Michelle Obama be proud of America? All she has heard for years is how bad America sucks for minorities. All she knows is that America has always hated blacks and continues injustice.

These are not people who merely disagree with what the best steps to be taken are for the future of the nation. They live in an entirely manufactured reality specifically designed to seed hate and division. The Obama’s are willing participants in a culture of dishonesty and self-oppression. Barack should never lead the oval office because of his fundamental ignorance as to how great this nation is.

Unfortunately, others have more eloquently explained our true history than I could hope to in a series of articles. A number of books have received attention on the conservative news circuit but I would like to plug one that I have not seen mentioned at all.

The Patriot’s History of the United States is a fantastic and thorough book which documents the entire account of this nation from the continental discovery until the war on terror. A must buy for anyone unclear about how good people founded this nation.

Once you read that book, also pick up the much described Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg to understand how secular progressives twist, omit, and maim the truth to find an imaginary historical foundation for their own twisted views.

On a final note, I must admit, I wrote this article on the evening of Thursday March 13, 2008. After listening to Pat Gray filling in for Glenn Beck and the daily Rush pod cast, my assertions are not foreign. This is likely the view of most conservatives. Still check out those books.
