It’s not the latter. It is surely the former.

At the church African art is all over the place. Walls, windows, hallways, you name it. African garb drapes the choir. Jeremiah Wright was decked out in same. Recall the videos?

Rapper Tupac Shakur was referenced in the newly installed pastor’s Easter sermon. The Jesus’ resurrection theme for the sermon’s title? Here it is: “Gangster’s Paradise.”
