McCain's Anger Quotient
April 06, 2008 01:00 AM EST

Jesus got good and angry on occasion.

At the outset and close of his three-year public ministry, Jesus got angry. He overturned temple tables and in no uncertain terms told merchants to scat. He claimed that the temple was His Father's House of Prayer, not a merchants' money-making machine.

Throughout Scripture God gets quite angry at sin and those committing it. God's eternal mercy is balanced with His eternal justice.

Therefore, there surely is the place for righteous anger. If not, the individual is one first-class wimp. There is no place for sissy believers.

John McCain says that there are times when he has been angry, and justly so. Being mortal, he confesses that not all anger moments have been justified. On the other hand, he claims that there have been those occasions that called for righteous anger.

I hope that when he gets in the Oval Office his righteous anger is leveled against every abortuary in America. And that Congresspersons with morals back him up.

McCain needs to be angry at homosexual 'marriages' and set up the biblical definition of marriage and family as an American staple with legal backing, just as the Judeo-Christian heritage has believed since the nation's inception.

McCain on the other hand praises himself on 'reaching across the aisle.'

That is well and good when his reaching endorses morality. But when it compromises biblical ethics for kissing up to Dems, then any politician is out of bounds, including McCain.

May his wisdom be that of the divine when reaching across the aisle for God knows the Dem Party is laden with evil. Not to say that the Reps are pure, but they do stand for ethical positions on major issues, such including fighting killing womb babies and sodomy.

'McCain has been dubbed 'Senator Hothead' by more than one publication, and he's lashed out in anger at fellow Republican Senators on several occasions.

''When I see corruption in Washington, when I see wasting [of] tax dollars, when I see people behaving badly — they expect me to get angry, and I will get angry,'' he said per CNN via NewsMax.

Good.
