Let's be honest, the party of Jackson, or even the party of Roosevelt is long gone. It has been replaced by the party of Obama, Pelosi, Dean, and Soros. It is governed by the most militant, activist, anti American, moonbat wing of the party. The wing that believes that 9-11 was an inside job, that believes eliminating FISA was bad for Bush so it must be good for the country, too bad if we can't track terrorists anymore. It believes that we must eliminate the modern global economy all in the name of the crackpot scinence behind global warming. Americans will one day be asked to surrender all of their freedoms in the name of saving the planet, and after all only a monster would be against saving the planet, so what they will mask as a request will really be a command.

Jimmy Carter, elder statesman of the Democratic party, has taken it upon himself to be an apologist for dictatorships, terrorists, and the more anti American they are the better. He'd give Bin Laden a hug if he could finds what hole the terrorist leader was hiding in. That about sums up the seriousness that Democrats have when it comes to national security. They deny any enemies to America are real threats, and they only profess to love their country when there is a Democrat in the White House.

Fortunately, for patriotic Americans(I guess we're too busy clinging to guns and religion, and making ridiculous demands about having secure borders) we don't see things their way. Just when the Democrats were dealt the perfect hand, you see that they aren't going to be able to capitalize on it. The conservative base demoralized, an unpopular President, an unpopular war, and a desire for "change" and you would think that the Democrats could nominate a department store dummy and take the White House.

But, oh no, the party of intelligent sophistacted people is too stupid and unsophisticated to nominate a real candidate. Don't get me wrong that's a good thing. As imperfect as John McCain is, he is vastly more qualified to lead America than either Clinton or Obama. The Democrats inability to nominate someone with some common sense, and someone who isn't a puppet of the left wing only demonstrates further that they can't be allowed to run this country, because all they will do is run it into the ground.

But, fortunately for the GOP, the Democrats are in the middle of a civil war. Senator Obama, the most likely victor, is not an electable candidate. More than 1/5 of Clinton voters say they won't vote for Senator Obama, he has failed to win the big states in the primaries, and in the general election could easily lose Pennsylvania to McCain. It will be a close election, but Obama with his associations to Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, and William Ayers, will not get the votes needed to take the presidency. Thankfully, that means that we won't have to suffer having a Democratic captain in charge of the ship of state.
