Mariano Torras, an associate professor at Adelphi University has whitewahed Fidel Castro. While he does know about the executions in La Cabana under Castro during the first years of the tyrannical Castro dictatorship. He does understand that Batista's soldiers did not fight back that much.
According to Mariano Torras, Castro stopped his human rights abuses, ignoring the labor camps and gulags for anyone the regime disliked.
He also talked about the fact that Cuba has free education and does not believe that Cuba only has good healthcare for the tourists.
He denies that Cuba is a poverty stricken island and says that it is only poor in our standards.
As I said in my article Who destroyed Chilean democracy, Latin America is the one place where Communist propaganda won. He is a leftist economists and is spreading Communist propaganda on Latin America.
When it came to Cuban exiles, he also claimed that only wealth people left and that they left another time when Carter said that they would accept them and Castro sent many of them to America.
A lot of Cubans are fleeing on rafts out of Cuba even today to escape the poverty-stricken tyrannical dictatorship.
Castro seeks to have a conflict with the US to look heroic despite his atrocities.
Yet, Mariano Torras said that "he won't surrender on our terms."
When I talked about the fact that during the missile crisis, the castor regime sought to use those nuclear missiles on America, he said that he wanted to use them because America used them.
He also asked that why do I pick on Cuba while other nations commit human rights violations. I said that I didn't say
that Cuba is the only country that commits human rights violations and/or are in poverty.
After Fidel Castro resigned, he gave power to his brother Raul Castro, who took part on the atrocities of his brother's regime. He opened up the tourist areas. But made the tourist hotels and what was forbidden to the average Cuban to expensive for them.
Mariano Torras is whitewashing the Castro regime and mostly gives weak and/or false arguments when it comes to Cuba.
