The debate whether there is a God who created everything or everything created was by accident is without a solution. The bible relates to creation occurring in 6 days. It steps through the various days almost steadfast with what we know from science. Genesis provides what was created on what day and states that God was pleased. Believing man was created by God, it is logical to ascertain he would give us the ability to question, explore, and contradict. We do not ask why or how the 20th century saw more achievement than any other period or all history combined. Where did this acceleration come from? Was it an accident or was it God? If I do not know the length of a biblical day, I can make the assumption; it could be any length of time from 24 hours to billions of years. Since a day is undefined, the biblical account of time is unclear allowing most to believe in a God and the prospect of an existence after death, lending credence that the 'Big Bang' is the result of the 'Big Man's' creative theme. In either respect, it really comes to one inevitable fact; there will never be conclusive evidence of the influence that played into events leading up to today that satisfies the argument. Did the big bang happen? Probably. Is Science right in its conclusions? Maybe. Was God the catalyst that put the Big Bang in motion or was it a result of an inevitable sequence of events? Did God create man in his image or was man created by accident? Whether you believe in evolutionary theory or in a supreme being, neither side can win, therefore, it is a debate without a solution.
