Captain Michael John Gutheinz an attorney in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General Corps graduated from the U.S. Army Air Assault School in Ft. Campbell Kentucky on May 7, 2008. Captain Gutheinz had previously graduated Magnum Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas and Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law.

Captain Gutheinz is a third generation attorney and Army Officer, with his paternal grandfather serving as a Marine Corps Officer and his maternal grandfather serving as an Army Officer. Prior to his entry into the Army he served as a Congressional Staffer for Congresswoman Shelly Sekula Gibbs.
