A Congressional staff member recently stated that members of Congress will not move on any critical issue until the American people take a stand and pressure them to act.Such pressurehasproven successful. It appears that inundating Congress with faxes and e-mailsis effectiveregarding which legislation is considered/approved. Most recently it has resulted in the dropping the amnestylanguage from an appropriations bill. If this is what it takes to get our elected officials to listen then so be it! Now we needtofax/e-mail them about increasing our domestic supply of oil by drilling within the continental U.S. (both onshore and offshore, including ANWAR).We MUST end ourdependence on terrorist nations foroil!

Also, Rush predicts that there will be a Democrat Party landslide this fall which will create a veto proof majority in both houses of Congress. Therefore, it really doesn't matter who is elected President, Congress (Pelosi and Reed) will be running the country.

IT IS, THEREFORE,TIMEFOR CONSERVATIVES TO CHOOSE! Either sit on your hands or vote for a third party candidateallowing the GOPto slide into oblivian after the 2008 elections. Change your voter register to independent or select a third party (Constitution Party or Libertarian Party).
