Frank Gaffney was wrong on Hugo Chavez

Peter Rodman and Frank Gaffney should apologize for undercutting my efforts in the late 1990's at the US Defense Deparment to contain Hugo Chavez. Peter Rodman refused to read my memos on this issue. Moreover, once I left the Bush administration, Frank Gaffney refused to establish a temporary staff position at the Center for Security Policy that would initiate anti-Chavez policy. It appears that Peter Rodman and Frank Gaffney accepted the State Department's view that "Chavez was no more than a nuisance" and that "Chavez's bark is far worse than his bite."
Do Rodman and Gaffney still agree with State? If not, what are Rodman and Gaffney doing to stop Hugo Chavez, Evo Morales, Daniel Ortega, and Raul Castro?
