There's a great new website dedicated to doing what is right: www.bringbacklaura.com.
Its webpage succinctly summarizes what has happened and what we need to do:
"Laura Ingraham has been blocked from being on her radio show. On the BringLauraBack effort, our goal is to get folks to contact their local programmers and let them know that as the battle with liberals and Obama hits a pitch point, we need one of America's most effective radio hosts on the air NOW!
"Please call your local affiliate and tell the station you want Laura Ingraham back on the Laura Ingraham show."
In addition, the website includes this petition:
"Whereas, Laura Ingraham is one of America's unique national treasures, her absence from your radio station is causing great emotional harm; inflicting mental stress; inspiring a resurgence of creeping liberalism; emboldening bumbling bureacrats, and pleasing unprincipled politicians,
"Let it be known, that the undersigned petitions you to do whatever it takes to BRING BACK LAURA!"
I proudly signed.
As RedState warned:
"You guys always kind of chuckle when Rush or anyone else talks about liberals wanting to shut down talk radio. Well, Laura Ingraham has been pulled off the air.
"The longer she is off the air, the more likely it is the stations could replace the programming altogether. That would be bad.
"...
"Remember, if this can happen to Laura Ingraham, it certainly can happen to any other conservative talk radio host. The left is already agitating about sweeping media reforms to shut conservatives out."
Not everything that people want to know about Laura's problem with Talk Radio Network can be revealed, but take this from National Review's Kathryn Jean Lopez (who knows what's she talks about): "I've been hearing from readers wondering if [Laura]'s transitioning to TV. Although she is starting a show on FNC Monday, no, she has no desire to move to TV. She loves her radio audience...."
And take it from The Minority Report's Steven Foley: "For now, the best way to help BringBackLaura is by contacting your local affiliate and letting them know they need to do whatever they can to BringBackLaura NOW!"
On Laura's website (www.lauraingraham.com), there is a station guide (RADIO STATION FINDER) available for your use.
