Washington, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life Political Action Committee, announced their endorsement of Tom Feeney, the Republican Representative for Florida’s 24th District.
Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser commented on the endorsement:
'The Susan B. Anthony List is proud to endorse dedicated pro-life leaders like Tom Feeney, who represent all Americans, born and unborn, in the halls of Congress. Tom Feeney is a passionate pro-life leader who will keep the hard-earned tax dollars of pro-life Americans away from abortion providers like Planned Parenthood. We are pleased to support his candidacy for Florida's twenty-fourth district.'
Tom Feeney is the Republican Representative for Florida's twenty-fourth congressional district. He maintains a 100% pro-life voting record, and is co-sponsor to numerous pieces of pro-life legislation, including the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act (H.R. 3442), the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 4133), the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act (H.R. 1063), and the Adoption Tax Relief Guarantee Act (H.R. 471), among others.
'Susan B. Anthony List members are eager to support dedicated pro-life heroes when they need it most,' said Dannenfelser. 'The consequences of disengagement are dire. The lives of women and their unborn babies are on the line, and the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund is ready to defend them at the ballot box in Florida and across the country.'
Rep. Feeney is expected to face former State Representative Suzanne Kosmas (D) in the November general election. Kosmas supports abortion rights and has been endorsed by EMILY's List and the Women's Campaign Forum.
