In 1939, the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact cleared the way for Hitler to start World War II. The Pact caught the world by surprise, because it was an alliance between two bitter enemies, Nazi Germany and Communist Russia.
Similarly, what made possible the recent bombings in London, and the many more that almost assuredly will follow in Europe and the United States, is the Marx-Mohammed Pact. Once again, two sworn enemies, Marxism - - specifically, the cultural Marxism commonly known as Political Correctness - - and Islam, have made a Devils bargain whereby each assists the other against a common enemy, the remnants of the Christian West.
From a Fourth Generation war perspective, the most important fact about the London bombings is that they were carried out by legal residents of the British Isles. It appears that three of the four bombers were British-born. British columnist Andrew Rawnsley, writing in THE OBSERVER, noted the psychological impact on the country of discovering that the worst terrorist atrocity ever inflicted on the capital was perpetrated by British-born young men who were keen on cricket and worked in a chippy.
This fact in turn points to what may be the Wests biggest strategic blunder, namely its immigration policies. European and American immigration policies have imported, and continue to import, millions of immigrants who are deeply hostile to the traditional cultures of their new homelands. Moslems are not the only immigrants who harbor such hostility but at present they seem the most likely to act on it. A piece in the July 17, 2005 CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER by Zachary Shore cites a survey of German Islamics which
"found that almost one-third of those polled agreed that Islam must become the state religion in every country.
Even though they live in Europe, 56 percent declared that they should not adapt too much to Western ways, but should live by Islam. More than a third insisted that if it serves the Islamic community, they are ready to use violence against nonbelievers."
Obviously, these immigrant Moslem communities pose a clear and present danger to the Western countries they now inhabit. Equally obviously, given its history and what its adherents are doing around the world, Islam itself is a threat. Europe and the United States need to stop more Islamics (and, in the U.S., Hispanics) from coming, and at least some of the Islamics now in residence must go.
But here is where the cultural Marxists come in. The ideology of Political Correctness, which is really the cultural Marxism of the Frankfurt School, says you cant do anything like that. In fact, you cant even talk about it. In Tony Blairs ultra-PC Britain, even saying the obvious about Islam - - that it is a religion of war and always has been - - is illegal. People have gone to jail for it. When one defendant quoted from the Koran to prove his point, a British judge condemned him anyway, ruling that truth is no defense if Political Correctness labels truths hate speech. In Hell, Marx, Mao and Marcuse are rubbing their hands in glee.
Of course, cultural Marxism despises Islam as much as Christianity, and the Islamics only question would be whether to behead the cultural Marxists before or after the Christians who refuse to convert (my guess is before). But that does not stop the cultural Marxists from forbidding the West to defend itself from Islamic immigration, or the Islamics from going through the door Political Correctness holds open for them. At a conference I attended in Lisbon in April, whenever those of us from the West talked about restricting Islamic immigration into Europe the Islamics hauled out the PC bogeyman of racism, exclusion, diversity, etc. Some Europeans joined me in telling them to stuff it, which was a hopeful sign.
In the real world, diversity is a synonym for Fourth Generation war on your own soil. As I have said before, the Wests immigration policies are importing 4GW by the boatload. London was only a foretaste of what those policies will bring to Europe and America. If we dare rip down the camouflage nets cultural Marxism has erected to blind us we see Europe has two real choices: an infinity of Londons or second expulsion of the Moors.
