The Theory of Revolution
July 29, 2005 01:36 AM EST

I read a poem not too long ago about evolution that I thought I might share with readers who may of may not agree with my views about evolution. Lets start by reading the poem called (author UNKNOWN) MAN:

MAN

Three monkeys sat in a coconut tree

discussing as they used to be,

said one to the other, now listen you two

there's a certain rumor that can't be true,

that man descended from our noble race

the very idea is a disgrace.

No monkey ever deserted his wife,

starved her babies, and ruined her life.

and you've never seen a monk to leave her

babies with others' to bunk,

or pass them on from one to another,

till they scarcely know their mother

and another thing you will never see,

a monkey building a fence around a coconut tree,

and let the coconuts go to waste,

forbidding other monkeys to taste.

Why, if you put a fence around a tree,

starvation would force you to steal from me!

Here's another thing a monkey won't do, go out at night

and get in a stew, or use a gun, a club, or a knife,

To take some other monkey's life.

Yes, man descended, the ornery cuss, but

brother he didn't descend from us.

I do indeed believe that evolution is only a theory and has no real evidence to back up claims that man derived from apes. I believe that the whole world was CREATED by God as the Bible claims in Genesis and that we were put here for purpose. Every argument between the left and right on social issues goes back to this time of creation.

First of all think about this: Almost every culture and religion on earth has a story similar to the account given in the Bible about a great flood. In this case I speak of the flood of Noah. The ark that Noah traveled in as the flood occurred is said to be on Mt. Ararat between modern day Turkey and Russia. Neither government wants explorers up there. I think we can draw the conclusion that is the ark was ever found and excavated that this would indeed justify the Bible as an accurate book.

This would absolutely ruin people like Michael Moore and the ACLU. We could then take into account that other stories much newer in age in the Bible are true too giving religious conservatives the edge in taking these scriptures more seriously when it comes to issues like homosexuality and abortion.

Homosexuality is condemned in the Bible as a perverted sin before God and the argument of leftists and the ACLU is that these are old scriptures and these laws do not apply today. But they do! The rules according to God never changes. The point that I am trying to make out of all of this is that if that ark was ever excavated and proven to be the ark of Noah, then everything we know today would probably change. The Bible's account of CREATION would perhaps be taken more seriously and the theory of evolution could become an old thing and give way for the Theory of Revolution which would state that God did create the universe and all that's in it and we resolve to keep His commandments. Finding and excavating that ark could be the best discovery any scientist or explorer could ever make. I sure hope they find it soon!
