Something very odd is occurring with the alleged Duke Lacrosse team rape/sexual offense/kidnapping ad nauseam case. A new virus is spreading throughout the US Senate and it appears that an increasing number of our lawmakers have been infected. Massachusetts’ native Bob Parks is running for the chairmanship of the MA GOP. However, you would never know it based upon a recent article published in the Boston Globe. Although a 26 November article published by the news service addressed other Massachusetts GOP members, it refused—or at least badly neglected—to cover Parks who is a black man. This week, the Democrat Party advised television network ABC and the American people that it is the organization—and the only one—that will now decide what is appropriate to be aired on television. I suspect that the Hollywood film industry (which is already virtually a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party) will be next. I doubt Hollywood will be too concerned, as the DNC loved and loudly applauded Michael Moore’s fabricated Bush hit-piece Fahrenheit 9/11. But, who knows? Apparently celebrating its first major victory over the US citizenry (SCOTUS’ Kelo decision to do away with the 5th Amendment to the US Constitution and allow private developers to steal American citizens’ property was only a year ago), on Thursday the US Supreme Court ruled that the President of the United States cannot order terrorist enemy combatants to be tried before a military tribunal. The court wrongly cited the rules according to the Geneva Convention. This unfathomable reasoning, using the Geneva Convention as the basis for its decision, does not apply to this situation. I just read yet another article that stated the United States has to develop and enact a “sweeping immigration plan”. Well—the Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1986 (AKA Simpson-Mazzoli Act) was such a plan. Included in its far-reaching stipulations are the “control of unlawful employment of aliens, unfair immigration-related employment practices, fraud and misuse of certain immigration-related documents and the expeditious deportation of convicted aliens”.
